95th Street Farmers Market ~ Sunday, July 5, 12, 19 & 26 ~ 8:00 to 1:00
In the parking lot at 95th and Longwood Drive. Market shoppers will be required to follow health guidelines that include wearing masks, staying 6 feet apart from market patrons, not touching produce or products, and not consuming food on the premises. Do not attend the market if you have a temperature or are feeling sick. Everyone will receive an application of hand sanitizer when entering the market. Find market updates on Facebook.
Planning for a Healthy Business, July 7, 9 a.m.
Ivan Ruiz, Assistant Vice President of Business Banking at Beverly Bank, will present a free online workshop on planning for a financially healthy business.  The workshop, co-hosted by Beverly Bank and BAPA, covers topics that will help business owners make key decisions, develop ideas into plans, and solidify relationships with lenders and business stakeholders. Advance registration and info.

Free Store, Wednesday, July 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Formed through a partnership with Turpin Cares, BAPA and the 19th Ward Mutual Aid group, the Free Store provides local residents in need with an array of products that have been donated. The Free Store has served over 200 families and distributed over 2,000 items. It will remain open as long as the need remains. Donations are accepted and can be dropped off at the Free Store during open hours.

Pitch In for the Parks, July 8, 15, 22 and 29

BAPA and the 19th Ward will be partnering with the Chicago Parks Foundation to bring Weeding Wednesdays to neighborhood parks this month: Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Dr., July 8; Munroe Park, 2617 W. 105th St., July 15; Kennedy Park, 11320 S. Western, July 22; and Graver Park, 1518 W. 102nd Pl., July 29.  Volunteers meet at 9 a.m. Bring gardening gloves.
